GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition Coming to Steam & Epic Games Store
It has been just over a year since one of Rockstar’s first proper game remasters released, taking us back to classic 3D universe with GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition. There has lots of speculation of recent weeks on whether any future updates would be pushed for the title following controversy around the state it was launched in, with numerous bugs and glitches still yet to be addressed. We reported back in October that the original developers of TDE, Grove Street Games, appeared to have been dropped from developing the game. It’s unknown if another studio has taken over or whether Rockstar Games are going to manage the updates fixes themselves now, despite being heavily committed with Grand Theft Auto VI.
In a recent update to the Rockstar Launcher on PC, it would appear that Rockstar are preparing to launch GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition on both Steam and Epic Game Stores. In a post on Twitter by Tez2, several lines from the update have been found and mention Steam and Epic games with ‘gta3unreal, gtavcunreal, gtasaunreal‘ pointing to a TDE release. It’s currently unknown on whether this release will be before the new year and whether it will feature any significant changes compared to the console and PC versions which are still awaiting a little TLC to polish them up.
