GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Patch 1.04.5 Now Available on All Platforms
Earlier today Rockstar Games released an update for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The official post on Rockstar’s support page states that stability improvements have been added across all three titles on all platforms, these include PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Fans however are disappointed that this is the ONLY thing that has been improved as there are still many complaints about collision issues, misplaced objects, broken AI upscaled roads among many other bugs that don’t seem to have been addressed.
It would also appear that many issues still have not been fixed and that following the title update this has caused a number of additional bugs and glitches, as pointed out by members of the Rockstar community across twitter.
Well we all know I was gonna say something about it and I’m extremely disappointed

Another interesting fact is that the original developer of the remasters, Grove Street Games appears to be no longer working on the trilogy as it has been uncovered by @billsyliamgta that the codebase for the titles have been changed.

It does not seem likely Rockstar Games or Take-Two is planning to invest a lot of time into making the experience of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition more authentic to the original as it seems all their sales are set towards the next instalment of the Grand Theft Auto series which is heavily rumoured to be revealed later this month.
